The CareerTrek Company Delivers Case Study Series at Vedica Scholars Programme for Women

In an exciting initiative at the Vedica Scholars Programme for Women, The CareerTrek Company successfully designed and delivered a comprehensive Case Study Series Course, aimed at equipping scholars with the essential business frameworks, analytical tools, and decision-making skills required to thrive in the corporate world. This immersive program went far beyond traditional classroom learning, giving students practical, hands-on exposure to real-world business challenges. 

Nine Industry-Relevant Frameworks in Focus 

The program introduced and applied critical frameworks that are widely used in corporate decision-making: 

AIDA Model (Attention, Interest, Desire, Action): Understanding consumer behavior and optimizing marketing strategies. 

BCG Matrix: Guiding portfolio management and strategic investment decisions. 

Balanced Scorecard: Linking business activities to organizational vision and performance objectives. 

Financial Evaluation Tools (NPV – Net Present Value): Evaluating project viability and long-term investment potential. 

IRR (Internal Rate of Return): Measuring profitability and comparing investment alternatives. 

Break-even Analysis: Determining the point of financial sustainability and operational efficiency. 

Porter’s Five Forces: Understanding market competition, industry dynamics, and competitive strategy. 

Each framework was not only explained theoretically but also embedded into real-world case discussions, enabling students to analyze complex scenarios, simulate strategic decision-making, and solve problems like corporate professionals. 

Dual Focus: Interview Preparation and Career Readiness 

This initiative served a dual purpose

Interview Preparation: Scholars gained confidence in tackling case-based questions and problem-solving scenarios, commonly asked in corporate interviews. 

Career Readiness: Students acquired critical tools to analyze business challenges, make data-driven decisions, and contribute strategically in professional settings. 

Transforming Learners into Future Leaders 

The Case Study Series bridged the gap between academic knowledge and corporate application, empowering Vedica Scholars with a practical mindset, analytical thinking, and business acumen.
