Professional Communications Session at Newton School of Technology Bengaluru SVYASA University by

The CareerTrek Company recently kicked off its Professional Communications sessions at Newton School of Technology Bengaluru SVYASA University, delivering an electrifying experience designed to elevate students’ personal and professional communication skills to the next level. Led by the dynamic Yash Goel, the session was packed with interactive exercises, debates, impromptu speeches, and personality assessments, keeping students fully engaged from start to finish. 

The session, led by communication expert Yash Goel, combined high-energy interactive activities, practical exercises, and personalized guidance to help students step out of their comfort zones and develop a strong command over their verbal and non-verbal communication. Students participated in debates, impromptu speeches, and personality assessments, including the 16 Personality Test facilitated by Aashirwad Kumar, to understand their communication styles and strengths better. 

Key Highlights of the Session 

Verbal Communication: Students learned to articulate their ideas clearly and confidently, practicing structured and impactful speaking.

Myth Busting in Communication: Common misconceptions about communication were addressed, helping students build effective strategies. 

Non-Verbal Communication: Focused on gestures, expressions, and posture, enabling students to convey confidence and credibility. 

7 Dimensions of Non-Verbal Communication: A deeper dive into subtle cues and body language that influence audience perception. 

Communication Hacks: Practical tips and strategies to enhance engagement and effectiveness in real-world interactions. 

Self-Expression Exercise: Students were challenged to describe themselves in one word, fostering introspection and clarity in communication. 

The session was designed to simulate real-world communication scenarios, encouraging students to think on their feet, structure their thoughts quickly, and present ideas confidently under pressure. By blending theoretical insights with hands-on experiential learning, the program enabled participants to refine their skills and prepare for both academic and professional challenges.

Students left the session with enhanced self-awareness, confidence, and the ability to communicate persuasively.
